After the account setup process has been completed for your project, you will be able to access the Content Management System (CMS) via 'https://your-domain.co.nz/update'.
Enter your password to log into the CMS.
Your website dashboard is the initial screen that you will be taken to. All aspects of your websites can be managed here.
The sidebar to the left is where you will be able to access the different sections, and collections of your website.
Depending on whether you have a custom domain name set up, you will either see a 'testing' domain, or your current domain name. Clicking this will take to to a live version of your website.
The Recent Activity column shows all recent changes and updates to your website. You may occasionally see updates from Meddle staff, these are for making necessary updates to themes etc. so you're running the latest versions.
The 'Website Settings' section is where you can manage themes, fonts, search engine optimisation, navigation and other general settings.
The 'Web Pages' collection contains all of the main pages within your website.
Renaming one of the filenames changes where it will be accessed from e.g. 'https://example.com/page-filename'. You may find that opening the page and updating the title, along with 'Navigation' in the 'Website Settings' is the best way to update a page name. If you change a page's file name once your website has been indexed by Google, some of their links to your website may break and point to the old location which no longer exists.
If you ever mistakenly remove the home page you can create it again, but insure the filename is called 'index'. Once you've created the page you can open it and update the 'Title' to something relevant such as 'Home'.
