Shopify vs Meddle E-Commerce

Both Shopify and Meddle offer different features for selling products/services online. Below is a brief breakdown of the differences, and which service may be the best fit for you.
Shopify
Purpose
Shopify is a US online store platform which is best suited for stores that will be receiving a large volume of sales.
Features
Shopify give you access to a fantastic library of apps and tools to grow and improve your store.
Shopify offer template websites, some of which are paid, but are quite limited in they way you can customise them unless you know how to write Liquid and HTML code.
In the past Shopify handled postage, shipping calculations etc. but it appears this is now a premium feature, or requires third party apps.
Pricing
All of Shopify's pricing is in USD. Most of their paid apps are also billed in USD. Shopify's 'Basic Shopify' starter plan costs ~$40 NZD/month. Any additional apps used may increase this amount. Shopify's standard plan costs ~$110 NZD/month.
Meddle
Purpose
E-commerce with Meddle is intended for small businesses and startups. We offer an easy way to get started and sell your products/services/receive donations with minimal setup.
Features
E-Commerce with Meddle gives you the ability to sell any type of product (as a one time payment), or offer subscriptions/recurring payments. We don't currently have any postage integration, so the cost of this needs to be included in your product prices.
Pricing
E-Commerce is available in Meddle's Startup and Business plans starting at $45 NZD/month. These plans include access to all website templates/themes and a feature packed website builder so you can fully customise your website.
Summary
Meddle is better value for money if you prefer to have full customisation, and a huge library of components to build your website from while running a small - medium sized store. Shopify is better if you need to run a large, fast paced store and need access to a library of third-party apps.
